If you must stay on this side of the Thames, The Bermondsey is the place to stay! The staff is fab! The other guests are super nice and friendly. And the beds! The beds on the 6th floor are the it!!! I am ordering one! I have never slept better in London than in this hotel! The room was a nice size (compared to London rooms), and their use of space was terrific - everything a girl-on-the-go-on-business needs: tea/desk/bed! Omg and the shower! I'm a soak-in-the-tub type, but their designer shower was like a lovely waterfall. Oh, and the location and ease of access was terrific! I walked everywhere! I seriously cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel, location and the experience. Just do the 6th floor...FABULOUS!

This hotel is new and lovely. Our twin room was a bit on the small side and we struggled to find a floor space big enough for our 2 suitcases. There is no wardrobe but it does have a bit of hanging space. The bathroom was top quality with big shower cabinet. The hotel is about a 15min walk from either London bridge tube or Tower Hill tube but this allows you to travel anywhere from there. there are lovelt restaurants and bars around. The only downside to this hotel was breakfast. they don't seem to have got their act together to cope with the usual last minute rush for breakfast. They NEED more staff and i felt sorry for the one waitress who seemed rushed off her feet. If they sorted this out then I would happily give it a 4*
